I have just recognized that our Quadrupole Considerations (texts, and figures) have nearly completely disappeared from the internet. I have reconstructed the text below (2019) by a repost by Silas Mohale from 15. Sept 2019. However, our standard figure on the quadrupole is missing, as well as other figures. 😢

Hi friends, and scientists:

The below presented data of NEWTON’s cradle, as presented by Caroline Geier and Stephanie Geier with respect to #NOETHER’s theorem at #Jufo19 (Rosenheim, poster presentation, Technische Hochschule Rosenheim), allow us to interpret the “first bit” as analogue or metaphor of a gravitational wave.

Its sinus form or sinusoid form is obvious, and differs from LIGO chirps because it’s not due to a fusion of two oppositely rotating black hole masses; thus, the “first bit” demonstrates a “gravitational wave,” respective its analogue in "classical" physics very clear.

Proof:

The middle sphere of NEWTON’s cradle is compressed and dilated by the first stroke (respective with every contact) forming an ellipse out of a sphere according to Heinrich HERTZ’s contact law.

Evidence:

1) 1st empirical evidence in our data: sinusoid, respective ellipsoid rebound effect in the first and second sphere; and

2) 2nd empirical evidence: Huppertz Simon, Heck Kristof: Untersuchungen zur Kugelstoß-Pendelkette und zur Hertzschen Kontakt Theorie, jugend forscht 2014; basic theory: photo below.

Please note that the spheres don’t follow HOOK’s law with F~x; however, they follow HERTZ’s contact law with F~x^3/2. Thus the harmonic oscillator model has to be replaced by a quadrupole oscillator (1.compression+2.compression+3.stretching+4.stretching in the same time interval, see photo) etc; however, note that the first and the last sphere form a tripole because the left side, respective right side are not affected by compression: 1.compression+2.stretching+3.stretching in the same time interval. A quadruple oscillator is the basic concept of Albert EINSTEIN’s #gravitational waves.

Conclusion:

Thus #NEWTON’s cradle, as presented by Caroline Geier and Stephanie Geier with respect to #NOETHER’s theorem at #Jufo19 (Technische Hochschule Rosenheim), is in accordance with the data and theory about gravitational waves, and provides a model of the generation of gravitational waves by being a quadrupole oscillator (at least middle sphere) and performing as a quadrupole oscillator.
